About Me

I am a Mathematics and Physical Science private tutor with a passion for learning and teaching.

I have been providing tutoring services for over 9 years and have gained valuable experience that enables me to help learners achieve great academical results in the subjects of Mathematics and Physical Science. I have always enjoyed learning and applying concepts taught in these subjects and thoroughly enjoy tutoring both subjects.

I hold two STEM qualifications from Wits university and in my spare time, I enjoy jogging and watching sports.

My services

I PROVIDE TUTORING SERVICES FOR GRADES 6 TO 12 AND FOR CAPS AND IEB CURRICULUMS

Online Tutoring

I provide online lessons only. I make use of a platfrom called LearnCube which offers video calling capabilities. In addition to video calling capabilities, the platform offers a whiteboard and file uploading capabilities. The platform is web-based and does not need any downloads.

Lessons are typically one-hour long or two-hours long. You as the client get to choose the duration and number of lessons in a week or in a month.

I offer one-on-one lessons as well as group lessons,with a maximum of 5 students per group.

I help with assignments, homework, test preparation, revision and exam preparation.

The cost of online lessons starts from R70 PER HOUR up to R200 PER HOUR.

Whatsapp groups

I offer Whatsapp group lessons for both Maths and Physical Science.

The groups consist of a maximum of 15 learners per group per subject.

There are Q & A sessions held twice a week for each group. In addition, there are worksheets provided weekly. These are provided with memos as well. There are also videos explaining concepts. There is also a live online lesson held every Saturday for every group.

These groups run from the start of the school year until the end of the school year, including school holidays.

The cost of the Whatsapp groups is R500 PER MONTH per group.
